"Wouldn't You Like to Know?"
On Wednesday, March 27 from 10:30 - 12:00 at MAB, Karen Howard, Therapeutic Recreation Specialist with Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation Department, will present information about recreational programs offered for individuals with visual impairments, and how to register for these programs. Information will include:
- VIP Travel Club – monthly day trips for adults, to a variety of destinations in and close to Charlotte.
- Paralympic Sport Club – tandem cycling is coming up in April.
- Detailed instructions regarding registration procedures for TR programs.
This will also be a great opportunity to let US know what programs and activities interest YOU!
If you would like to attend but need a ride, call Rebecca White at 704-887-5134. Because this is an MAB sponsored program, there is no charge for transportation!
