TRANSPORTATION

Transportation
The purpose of the Transportation Department at MAB is to assist individuals who are blind and visually impaired in maintaining an independent lifestyle by providing transportation for medical appointments, business and shopping trips. This program is designed to be one option for transportation while simultaneously educating the users on all types of transportation available in the area.

MAB Transportation is available on a first-come-first-serve basis with priority given to MAB group services.
 
Hours: 7 days/week 6:30 a.m.—8:30 p.m. with limited availability on weekends.
 
Travel Area: Mecklenburg, Union, and Cabarrus counties.
 
Cost: Beginning July 1st, 2011, riders will be charged only $5.00 of the $48.00 cost for each scheduled trip.
