Holly Bullock works in the Accessible Document Services Department (ADS) as a Development and Production Specialist, and she has been chosen for a MAB Employee Spotlight for her astute problem solving skills, ability to juggle multiple projects at one time, and a crazy loud laugh that you can hear down the hallway. In all seriousness, Holly has been referred to as the “woman behind the curtain” because she quite literally makes magic when it comes to transcribing accessible documents and we appreciate her dedication to this sometimes challenging process each and every day.
For the past 11 years Holly has been managing the reporting/reconciliation process for the ADS department as well as overseeing automated production and assisting the team with development and testing when it comes to new projects. All areas of the department rely on her to keep the ship moving in the right direction specifically when it comes to quality, accuracy and timeliness of accessible documents. Working at MAB has given Holly a new perspective when understanding the challenges that the visually impaired community face on a daily basis and this is what drives her to stay focused and motivated on the task at hand. Holly said, “I am truly committed to working with companies to make sure they are providing accessible documents to their customers and enjoy offering guidance when it comes to what accessibility actually means.”
In her free time Holly enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, reading thrillers, and she is very active at church, teaching an adult Sunday School class, and working with several children’s programs. Because some of us at MAB see both sides of the “curtain” we thought it was time to pull it back and recognize the person behind it.
